Australia has a lot of domestic air conditioning units, whose electricity
demand will be strongly correlated with sunny days ...

Understood. One of the few places it really MIGHT make sense if the costs
were real.

1.05 dollars a watt.... installed! Maybe they are going to be those lo
efficiency CIGS thin film panels... 5%? So that means they need 20
million square meters to get a gigawatt? 7 square miles?
