There is no shipping insurance and you will not find any. Any suggestions? > > Glenn > Posted by Richard P. on April 15, 2008, 11:02 pm Please log in for more thread options Hey Glenn, Carmanah Technologies (former Soltek-PowerSource) is a big distributor/retailer in western Canada but I don't think they will be cheap(er). http://www.carmanah.com/ Another thing you can try is to contact a PV manufacturer and see if they have a distributor's list... sometimes you can find a small company who may wheel and deal with the final price, especially if you are not going to go back and pester them with questions or support. Or they may have a left over panel or two from a project they may be willing to part with for a good price. And then there's always 'greed'-Bay, but there I have found there is usually some sort of shipping restrictions or high shipping costs involved. Quite often I have seen used panels going for close to or more than what a new one is worth..! Go figure... <shrug>.
