What preminums is everyone paying for a new Prius?
Anyone buying under MSRP?
In my area the preminums are $1.8k - $5k depending on the dealer.

I was at a dealership last week. Despite having 16 people on their waiting
list and an estimated 3-month wait, the price on the sticker of one waiting
to be delivered was discounted more than $800.00 below MSRP.

Premium, not preminum.

Paying anything over MSRP = bad idea IMO

I think dealers inflate prices by so-called dealer add-ons. It's been a
few years, but once I saw a new car with undercoating, at a price of
$800, an exhorbitant price for something that might have cost $50 to put
on.

I got my Prius in January. I hate shopping for cars and negotiating
price so I sent my dad to the Toyota dealership in his neighborhood. My
loves doing that sort of stuff. Thanks to my dad, I ended up with a deal
for $1,000 below MSRP for a 2008 Prius with package #2 that was on the
lot. All I had to do at the dealership was go there the next day to take
a quick test drive, hand over my down payment, and sign the paperwork. I
had previously arranged to finance the car through my credit union.
