They think they can, but the true is No they can't, here are the =
reasons:

1) You don't have the start/stop rotor magnet circuit, so your =
alternator won't work, if you go direct you can burn your rotor's coil.

2) Ok,if you bypass a regulator, then you face with the next problem, =
the maximum amp you can produce from a 3000 watt is 107amp, not 200amp, =
you don't have enough juice for your 24V 200amp alternator, and you =
won't have any horse power left to move your 4hp mower.

can't you register on the site where the link above points and post these
things there?

I would think someone ought to think military or marine for 24 volt.  I
doubt they will find it in automotive.  It is going to be a long time until
they have robots which can mow around all the rocks and slopes I have.
