Can anyone suggest a supplier for a 4000 Watt, 220 Volt 60 Hz inverter with
soft start please ?
input voltage 12/24/48 not a problem..

Thanks

What's soft-start when applied to an inverter?  Lots of companies make
inverters (or arrays of inverters) to make many KW at all common
voltages and frequencies, among them:

What I think of when someone says soft-start regarding inverters, is
when it is turned on, or recovering from an overload, the RMS output
voltage rises slowly to its final voltage...
The old Trace Engineering U series did this for example.  A mod-square
inverter, it would slowly widen out its pulse until it got to 120 VAC.
You would see a light bulb load go from dim to full brightness.  Not
instant on usually.  This may have been only under load.  I can't
remember exactly now.
