Is there a place to find out the wattage requirements to standard
electrical appliances like furnaces, freezers, refrigerators and air

Just google it up along with generator requirements. You need to get
the starting and running amperages.

There's no such thing as a "standard electrical appliance". They all
come in various sizes and efficiencies., Look on the manufacturers
website for the power requirements for the model you have in mind.
