I'm about to buy a new propane generator for my remote home which will
be used about 1000 hours a year initially, then about 200 hours a year
(once I upgrade my solar and wind arrays).
I'm looking at the Onan RS 15000 and the Lister Petter gensets (either
the GS6N/7P-LP or GS11N/12P-LP).

If you have any first hand experience with these units, I'd really
appreciate you feedback.
Thanks,

The Lister is a Good unit and should meet your requirements the control
panel is a bit flimsy as to being sealed but if you have a dealer nearby for
future parts requirement it is good.
The Onan used to use other engines I dont know if this is still the same or
if they have build a new engine. Again they are very good but they are more
standy than the Lister.
