I have seen this question in regards to gas ovens also.
I think the better question is:
Has anyone seen, or developed, a piezo electric solution that can be retro
fitted?

Doing that now with my GE profile range. It is a slide-in and I could
not use the Pierless models which have a piezo/pilot. The manual is on
order and I may just buy a low-end Pierless and use the 17KBtu burner
and controls in my GE. It does amaze me how backwards these appliances
are.
