Isc, you mean short-circuit current, right?
Find out the Isc for a battery. Manufacturers might spec that for
smaller batteries. For larger batteries, you had better assume the
value is near infinity. (I don't remember seeing Isc specified for
large batteries.)
Batteries in parallel add (or sum) their individual Isc's.
Batteries in series will usually be about the same as the smallest Isc,
but if the bank is very high voltage, or the Isc's of the batteries in
series have a huge variance, all bets are off.
If you have series strings in parallel, figure out your series strings,
add them together.
