I hope I'm not stepping on any toes posting here, but I've put together
a site dedicated to corn stoves which involves saving energy so I
thought it was fiting here. Everything from reviews, to fuel costs, to
mfg listings are up on the site now. I'm working with several people
to get installation photos, etc. up there too. If you're in the market
for a stove, or already have one and would like to learn more and/or
share hints and tricks you've picked up, please take a look. FYI - I
don't work for any stove companies/web sites/dealers etc. and you can't
buy ANYTHING from me on the site. Thanks for looking!

Had no idea wheat burners existed - will delve into that site to see
what the story is. Corn works best for me, being in the middle of corn
country here in South Dakota. I also like the idea of biodiesel, just
don't have a diesel auto yet. Once I get a corn burner going in my
house, that will probably be my next step! The more renewable (and
local) an energy source is - the more I want to use it. Saw an article
on biodiesel in Home Power Magazine that was fascinating. Thanks for
the feedback Steve, hope you have a warm winter!

Corn will get more expensive, some places use natural gas to dry it ;~)

So how well does corn work in a cornstove if it's got more moisture than
you'd want for feed corn? Do you _have_ to dry it, if you're going to
burn it?
