Data Centers use 1 1/2% of all power generated in the USA. Only 30% of
the energy is actually used for computing power. The data center in
the story has a monthly power bill of 1/2 million bucks now and is only
1/3 capacity so it is looking at a bill of 1 1/2 to 2 million a month
when it is built out to full capacity.
