(this bike is being given away to a yet to be determined charity in

Range ` miles,
Recharges Time = 5 hours with a 110VAC plug (2 hours with a charging
Station)
Top speed = 100 mph using an advance 27 peak hp DC battery

Roehr Motorcycles (http://www.roehrmotorcycles.com )
announced on Jan 6 2010 that they are planning to
sell two BEV motorcycles in the future. Roehr Motorcycles
build racing motorcycles which typically go up to 100mph
- there is a new type of motorcycle racing which is for
electric motorcycles only - these newly planned models
are focused on establishing a foothold in this market.
The two models planned are:
eSuperbike, Racing BEV Motorcycle, 96bhp AC Induction motor
using 10Kw Li-Ion Phosphate Battery System
eSupersport, Production BEV Motorcycle, 48bhp AC induction motor
using 6KWh Li-Ion Phosphate Battery System

Here is my son and my foray into electric vehicles,
an electric gokart. We have, since the video, put new
batteries on it and installed a much stiffer motor mount.
It is a hoot to drive.

Wait until your kids turn 16.
They'll be putting modified forklift motors in your Prius ;D

I can only hope!
It was like pulling teeth to get him to put time into the project.
What should have taking weeks, took six months. I started the project
to get him interested in something other than video games. I tried not
to work on it if he didn't. So it took a long time to get to the first run.
