No problemo

Say if you want to do a quick writeup i'll post it as HTML with those
pics.  Some folk might like to read more about it on the old interweb

Thanks, z.  I'll give it some thought.  I had my belt-driven eu2000 up for a
while.  Actually I've given it a lot of thought but Geocities no longer has
free web sites (so I've heard) and my cheapo ISP does not include a free web
site.  I was gonna do a collage of the items that I use for off-grid living.
On the surface they might not seem significant but I've found that by using
my solar cooker occasionally and my "poor-man's" solar water heater to wash
dishes I save about 20 gallons of propane per month.

Speaking of solar cookers yesterday I made solar hamburgers.  I just HAD to
try it.  They were very good!  Very nicely browned and in some ways better
than BBQed.  I used to be under the impression that solar cookers only made
stuff "edible" such as yes, you can cook a chicken in a microwave, but who
would want to?  It has become a standard cooking appliance around here and
some things are better on the stove, some better in the oven, and some
better in the solar cooker.  But you probably only get about 10 sunny days a
year there, huh?

Holy crap thats a lot of propane.

thats sweet.  You could publish recipes too

If you want I could just give you an account and some web space  Maybe
throw a block of google adverts on it with my code and that would totally
pay for it.

I have this news group archived in a local database  so we could search
up and link to all the discussions of yours relating to those projects

get in touch with a user & password  if you want an account -- ftp and a
web readable directory

It could be something like www.homebrewhydro.com/ulysses

lemme know

He's probably doing a lot better than that this summer.

Nope.  We've had some hot days but the heat wave inland brings in the fog
till about noon .. been getting only a few hours of good sun a day.

But its a nice 75 f rather than the 100+ roasting interior

so can't complain too much.  Supposed to have some thunder + showers over
the next few days.  Hopefully won't spark any major fires

how is it in Bob F's world?
