which would you do first?
1. upgrade conventional vinyl siding to insulated vinyl siding (adds
an additional 4.0 R-Factor) on a frame house.
2. upgrade 6 dual pane conventional windows and a patio door(approx. .
60 U-Factor) to energy star argon filled dual/triple pane windows
(about .25 U-Factor)
Thanks.

Replace the windows first. Most energy loss is through the windows. And
replacing windows can mess up the siding.

Which one is needed most ?
1. Is your vinyl siding ugly or falling off ?
2. Are your windows dripping wet all winter & rotting away ?
6 of how many windows ?
Are these 2 jobs similar cost .. ?
