MaxLite Dimmable CFL???

 I've seen the MaxLite web site but their online seller of dimmable CFL's
hasn't responded to my email about th fact that they don't show the dimmable
CFL on their site.  Questions:

Anyone know where to buy the dimmable CFL's?
Has anyone used them and are they any good?
Anyone else make a dimmable CFL?  I can't find them at HomeDepot et al.

 

I've bought about 24 Phillips 23 W "Marthon" dimmable CFLs in the last year
or so. Most of them came from Home Depot, until they stopped carrying them.
Lately they come from a local electrical distributor.


When they work, they work nicely, losing very little luminous efficiency
when dimmed, but about 8 failed early, and were replaced under warranty.
They are in recessed ceiling fixtures with Lutron incandescent dimmers.


I think there's another newer source for similar but not identical
dimmable CFLs at about the same $20 price, but I don't recall the name.
