Why do I have to talk to this sub-moron again?

You don't. You can just go away. It's not rocket surgery.

Sonny, what you know about Power Generation could be put on the end of
your Pointy Head, with room for the Thousand Angels to have a Party......
They don't make Gear Reduction systems for the kind of HorsePower at
Grand Coulee Dam..... They wind the Stators, for the designed Rpm of
the Generator, and they DO THAT in-place when they build it.... These
are WAY to BIG to transport. One of the GE Generators in PowerHouse #3
is 45+ Ft across, just HOW would "YOU" transport something that BIG...
Good thing your not in the biz..... and this isn't your Day Job.....

=================
In general terms if you double the number of poles, you will half the speed.
At 60 Hz
A 2 pole motor or generator synchronous speed is 3600
A 4 pole motor or generator synchronous speed is 1800
So if you have 8 poles then the synchronous speed for such a generator at 60
Hz would be 900 RPM
For a 12 pole motor synchronous speed 600 RPM
A 60 pole motor or generator synchronous speed would be 120 RPM
Of course with motors under load there is some slip reducing the speed.
