You're touching on a tender spot here. I don't know about you, but I
paid my own SS bill. It's not my fault that the government borrowed the
money and now needs to figure out how to pay it back.

Yes I've paid mine too, and I'll probably get all if not more back
than I paid. I doubt anyone under 40 will get back what they pay in.
It may not be our fault that the government borrowed/spent the money,
but it was our generation that got the benefit or benefits.
There's no secret how the bill will get paid, on the backs of 20 to 50
yr old's.
It's all very sad.
