Would anyone know of a source other than Ebay or Pay Pal that sells
the small 250-300-500 inverters that are being sold on Ebay? I've
looked on Google and can't seem to find any other vendors. Any leads
appreciated.
I have written to a few of the vendors asking if they would take a
major credit card and they all say Pay Pal Only....

With or without the batteries in them ?
Walmart has some computer backups with the batteries in them.
Amazon.com has some without batteries.
Lowes has them.
Google turned up piles of hits for the inverters.

You missed the key words - grid tie
Most of the cheap and readily availlble inverters are not grid tie
devices.

Yep, missed the grid tie part. Amazon still showed one , but it was out of
stock.
Looks like the OP may just have to get a Paypal account if he wants one.
Google did show up a bunch of hits.
