Hi!
I'm looking for an affordable way to "play" with a hybrid system to
learn the ins and outs of off-grid power generation. I'm eventually
headed to remote places where off-grid is going to be the standard
(agricultural/forestry projects) and really don't want to go through the
workshop circuit. I'm currently on-grid so I can't rationalize spending
a ton of money to build something that I won't use but I love to learn
"hands-on."
My thought is that somebody out here might have upgraded recently and
has stuff I could buy (a few large PV cells, a wind turbine that just
never produced as expected, some storage that just doesn't hold up to
real demands, an inverter that just got replaced).
OR - any good suggestions for a "hands-on" person that wants to come up
to speed on alt power systems for remote locations would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
