I just picked up a 1971 Onan 5.0CCK-1R that has been sitting in the back
of a barn, not hooked up, for many years. All the parts are there, and after
broom sweeping then air blasting, most of the paint is good.


Gasoline only carb, but it Is wired for remote start. If it runs, it will get
changed to vapor fuel, and rewired as a -3R for dual voltage.

I've got a major overhaul manual for it ordered.
(and I have a scanner, merry xmas)

  Is it in an enclosure or naked?  I have an original
operators/installation/parts manual, but you probably already have
that.  If I can be of any help, just shout.

     Eu?  Why not!  The inverter generators are to generating what
hybrid cars are to driving.  Under certain conditions, they can save
you a heap of fuel; but probably not enough to pay for themselves.
