I think the HF 15W panels are 'polycrystalline' rather than
'monocrystalline'. A monocrystalline panel the size of an HF panel
would be putting out 100W, and you could see the .7V silicon wafers
arranged in a row column series/parallel array to produce the desired
output voltage. So the 'figure of merite' for PV panels is not just $
per watt if you are worried about area.
