Hello group.

Name's Shag. I recently moved to an area with abundant solar and wind
resources. (Kittitas valley, Washington State US)

I've been perusing various sites for DIY solar water preheat and wind
turbines, but I've not found much that's viable IMO.

I looked for an alt.energy.homepower FAQ to no avail. Anyone have a site or
sites that might aid y quest?

Thanks for reading

<snip the rest>

Thankyew Wayne. Seems I've got a lot of reading to do. This place gets 300+
days a year of sun and rather wicked wind year round, except in the
wintertime. Hate to see all that energy going to waste.

Appreciate the help.
