Recommendations for 2000-3000va online UPS?

I'm currently using a PowerWare 9120 2kva UPS and it has been developing
control problems over the past few years - refuses to enter high efficiency
mode, won't run any diagnostics tests, and currently says that it's
outputting 120V 50Hz (I haven't confirmed the hz yet, but this isn't a
user-selectable item).

So, I'm looking for a new one. I've been looking at the Tripp-Lite
SU3000RTXR3U (or 2.2kva model), the APC SURTA3000XL (runtime on the 2kva
model is too low) and I've also checked out models from MGE and Opti-UPS.
Some brands, like Minuteman and Liebert, seem like they might be OK but I
have no idea where I could purchase them in Canada.

Any recommendations on online UPSes in this size and price range? I'm
looking for network management and at least one extended battery (which
would give me 60 minutes full load runtime on the APC).

You might consider a Xantrex 2524+. It's basically a UPS that uses an
external battery bank. You can hook it to SLA or conventional lead acid
batteries. It does not have network software, but the runtime can be vastly
longer than a unit with just a couple of small batteries. The unit is made
in Canada.
