Does anyone have any recommedations for Solar Panel distributors in Canada?
Most common I could find is RV dealerships that charge and arm and a leg,
and then some. Any suggestions?

They all charge an arm and a leg. Canadians always get ripped off.
It is cheaper to do your own importing. There is no shipping insurance and
you will not find any.
Make sure the top and bottom panel have a plywood protection layer.

Hey Glenn, Carmanah Technologies (former Soltek-PowerSource) is a big
distributor/retailer in western Canada but I don't think they will be
cheap(er). http://www.carmanah.com/
Another thing you can try is to contact a PV manufacturer and see if they
have a distributor's list... sometimes you can find a small company who may
wheel and deal with the final price, especially if you are not going to go
back and pester them with questions or support. Or they may have a left
over panel or two from a project they may be willing to part with for a good
price.
And then there's always 'greed'-Bay, but there I have found there is usually
some sort of shipping restrictions or high shipping costs involved. Quite
often I have seen used panels going for close to or more than what a new one
is worth..! Go figure... <shrug>.

Distributor or retailer?
Arize Technologies in Kitchener is a distributor and manufacturer
(plant just opened in Germany) who will also soon be producing
electronics grade silicon wafers.
