Some kind of free energy saving software for computers. I saw it on
the news and looked up the website. Looks OK but you never know.

Save energy. Switch your computer to the "0" mode (there is a switch that
lets you go between "1" mode and "0" mode).

Weren't some early IBM PCs even labeled "1" and "0" on their power switches?
(Albeit stylized to be more like a capital I and a big O?)
If you're being paid for your time, it's seldom cheaper to completely power
down a PC than to just leave it in standyby overnight.

Only if you're foolish enough to do *nothing* while watching the thing boot
up. I don't know very many that do that. Heck, even getting a cup of
coffee while it boots up would avoid watching the thing boot and would be a
sort of multi-tasking.

Its actual part of Intels Mobile chip platform, Slows Vista to a crawl.
