Sure, in normal weather there, but here, my 75,000
BTU/hour vented space heater has a problem keeping
two rooms warm when it is 10 below F.
At 32 F (0 C), my room stays warm with about
3 or 4 KW, but that is almost constant, it doesn't cycle
much.
This summer, when I can turn off the gas meter
if I need to and not need gas heat, I plan to build a
platform to set my 35,000 BTU vented space heater
so it is high enough for me to work on it without
laying on the floor.
I want to get a couple of vent pipe heat
exchangers to make it more efficient, and will
try to figure a way to use outside air for the flame.
But I still want a small heat pump, a split
unit that I can install myself, and it can be a heat
only unit, if they make them.

That clearly means you have poor insulation.
It'll be hugely more effective (and cheaper) to fix the insulation problem than
anything else.

It can be set to heat, cool or mix(will heet/cool as needed to keep
set set temp.)
It should be bug enough to heat more or less the whole of my house.
Witch is a 150M2 wooden house with poor isolation.
BTW: it cost aprox U$ 1750

You also get split units, witch can heat or cool several rooms/floors
at once.

Yikes....... That is a bit steep compared to the prices I have seen for low
end stuff.
That equates to about 18000BTU
Window heat pumps of that size have been on the US market for a while now.
