That thing is 22 inches long and 11 1/2 inches wide.  That guy in the
picture must have really big hands.  The only other place I found it
was Amazon.com for $799.

oh man, how embarrassing, no, i didn't look at the specs at all, jeez.
jeez.  i mean, i'm sure if i was going to buy it i woulda checked it out
more closely, i sure hope so.  it really looked like the guy had his hand on
the pull starter cord, (right next to the machine) ugh.  oh, i see, he's
pushing a button on the remote.  oy. oh my god i have to slink away and not
show my face here again.  of course it's that big (22" x 11 1/2") or the
outlets would be miniscule. <cringe>  again! another emily litella moment.

Hey don't worry.  The Burning Man and nekkid wimmin is a great idea.
Just have to revise the generator plan a little.  Here's what you
need:

350 watt inverter generator that weighs under 12 lbs.  A cute l'il
hummer.  Harbor Freight used to sell this little jewel but no more.  I
bet somebody does, though.  I carry this unit around on my hotrod
electric scooter as a range extender.

At first I thought that the guy was pulling the starter cord which
made the generator look small (or his hands large).  Then I realized
that he was simply pushing the remote start dongle.  His hand is near
the camera while the generator is somewhat far away.

Still a nifty looking generator but at 76 lbs I don't think I'd b
backpacking it :-)

Something's funny... the unit, as you said, looks teensy
next to the hand holding it. Yet.... when you look at
the actual specs it's a much more imposing 76 pounds, and
measures 22 inch length, 11.5 width, and 20 inch height.
