An alternator shop might be able to provide what you want. I'd
probably bore a more readily-available pulley to the needed diameter.
Don't forget that the shaft stickout on alternators is pretty short, a
regular pulley is likely to need counterboring as well.

I have a huge box of pully's i'll see if I can find one.  The delco shaft
should be 17mm w/ 1.25mm thread pitch (20tpi).

The surplus center looks pretty kick butt.. i'm getting a catalog for
sure!  I see the spider couplings listed:

&catname=powerTrans&keyword=PSF3

those look just like the epicenter ones, but the guys at epicenter tap
one side to delco thread, and then you buy the other side to the size of
the shaft you need.  But they don't lock so I had to drill and tap mine
w/some stainless bolts into one solid coupler as I was using it in a
virtical application:

dang I'm trying to remember if I got a pully with my winblue.  I'll go
dig through my crap and see.  So don't go buy one just yet if I have one
that fits you are welcome to it

Here is the one that came with the windblue alternator:

If you think that would work for you let me know -- I have no plans to use
it.  Send me your address and i'll drop it in the mail

I also found a nut that *should* fit on the delco thread

Thanks. but that looks like the same size pulley I have now.  I think I need
one for a 1/2" belt and that appears to be for a 3/8" belt.

Besides that, maybe you don't need it *now* but someday you'll be working on
an idea and remember you had that pulley and spend hours looking through
boxes for it....

BTW did you ever get your belt and governor gear for the eu2000?  That was
quite a while ago.  The parts I have were only used for a couple of hours.
They will very likely fit my GC135 engine but it will probably fall apart
long before it needs a new belt or gear.  My other eu2000 has already had
them replaced and the engine is so worn it will never need them.

My thread gauge said 20 tpi.  I think.

So, you actually used a coupler from epicenter and it was OK?

That would be just too good!  :-D  I yanked a pulley from an electric motor
with a 5/8" shaft and it's just a little too small of a hole.  I don't want
to go paying someone to bore it out until I'm sure this whole project is
going to work.  I'm not quite sure how many rpms my Delco alternator needs
to excite so even if I rewind the stator it still might need more than 1800
rpm to get going.
