A much better question; where do you want to live? Mountains, water, dry
or humid climate. No one can answer this. Australia's NE coast would be my
choice. But SHMBO won't leave TX.

I moved around a bunch as kid and was pretty happy where ever I was,
I'm more concerned with people than places but from my experience, I
always seem to run into 1 or 2 people I like any where I go, which
good enough for me.

Stay away from New England; poor soil, uncertain wind, whole weeks
without seeing the sun in the winter. If you have the time and
ambition you can heat with wood for free but there isn't nearly enough
for everyone.

Yikes, bad solar coupled with cold climate, iffy wind, and poor soil,
my plan might deal with one less than par resource, but not all three.
Thanks,
Curbie

My sister lives just outside Orno Maine, she installed solar last fall, she
seems happy. But time will tell, one year isn't much time to judge.
