Hi
I am in the UK and want to link a small hydropower scheme to my existing
Xantrax SW4548 (which runs from a diesel generator), using a pelton wheel
and a Trace c40 charge controller
In the UK this is a fairly rare system, and I shall have to get most of the
stuff from the US or Canada. My problem is that I havent got a clue how
exactly to link the bits together. Does anyone know of an on-line resource
that might help, or can recommend a supplier that will have the patience to
guide me through the exact wiring, or are the people at Trace of any use ?
TIA

output from hydro unit is 48v DC somehow connected to my
existing 48 volts of battery which is then inverted to 240v AC

ok, so your 48 volt generator, connects to the charge controller, then to
the batteries. the inverter connected to the batteries gives you your ac.

complete diagrams can be seen at
