Those numbers seem reasonable. I'd expect the BSFC number to be a bit better
than
0.5 and I'd expect the average power required to drive a small car like that at
60
mph to be a bit lower but those numbers are representative.

After I posted my post I noticed the date (July) of the O.P. and
canceled my post. (In case anyone notices its missing.)
O.P.'s question:

In view of the OP's question of using an old Geo 1 liter I-3 for
power, 1.2 gph with 12 hp produced would be my back o' the envelope
calc to answer the O.P.'s question.
