I have a 2 year old Napoleon wood stove/fireplace. I recently noticed
several holes (not superficial chips) in the bricks. The deepest hole
is about 3/8 inch deep and less than 1/4 inch across. Is this is a
safety hazard?
Thanks,
Gerry

Only if you allow them to grow so that they expose the steel plating
of the stove. Go buy some firebrick mortar patching and repair the
firebrick. Nice saturday afternoon project while watching college
football.
