Are you sure? Because previously you've explained that there was no
such thing as "Modified Square Wave". Here's the quote:

"One test is the "Modified Square Wave" test. When you hear these
words you know you are dealing either with a shyster or an ignorant
person who should not be selling things he does not understand"
http://groups.google.com/group/rec.aviation.owning/msg/fcedb924b12e6e71?dmode=source

We can be sure that you didn't misspeak, because the term is in quotes
and you've previously instructed readers that "One should always
doubble check quotes used". So why are you now using the same
terminology as those you refer to as ignorant or shysters? Other than
the obvious of course...

Next we will see George try to explain that in Ghiospeak, there is a
difference between an inverter that generates a "Square Wave modified to
resemble a Sine Wave" and an inverter that generates a "Modified Square
Wave"

Well, I sure *hope* that he tries something like that.  :-)

Instead he's posting cryptic numbers in a different thread. First
"10", then "13 and counting". Here's my top ten list of the possible
meaning of the presumably continuously rising digits:

#10 ...number of cordless tools he's converted to corded
#9   ...times his diabolical new keyboard macro will generate "wanker"
#8   ...fibs per hour
#7   ...thousands of gallons of propane burned since he moved into
"solar" powered home
#6   ...number of courses he plans to take to "finally show everyone"
#5   ...meter diameter of ball he's rolling out of 300k wire
#4   ...psi pressure of his skull since sprinkler thread began
#3   ...escalating pin count in Wayne and Ron voodoo dolls
#2   ...pages in his pending complaint letter to Usenet headquarters

And the #1 likely meaning of the mystery numbers - list of posters he
hopes will become alcoholics from playing the George drinking game.
(See http://www.lowexpecations.com/ )   :-)

I noticed the cryptic numbers, also.  I expect that in one of his
subsequent posts, George will attempt to enlighten us and we will be
appropriately devastated by the wit and logic demonstrated by his
explanation.  Or not!

In my single experience running a DeWalt charger from a DR1524, the
charger's internal fuse blew instantly. After replacing the fuse the
charger was fine for many years running off my SWs. I've also powered
perhaps a dozen other cordless tool chargers off the SW without any
problems.

If you're shopping for a new drill and don't mind paying a premium, I
recommend this one
http://www.makita.com/menu.php?pg=product_det&tag½F452HW . It's the
nicest I've ever used. About $200 at Home Depot. Light, compact,
powerful, 1/2" chuck, intelligent fast charger, and auto brake (one
hand chuck tightening). The only negative for my use is that the
larger chuck can only go down to about 40 thou, but it's more often
that I need larger-than-3/8.
