Damn Jim, us speaking about the Segway and the latest owner was found
dead at the bottom of a cliff in London:(
Check out Excite Tech News.They are banned in some states here &
abroad.

Sorry for sad news, I meant the Tycoon that owned Segway, he' was only
62, what he was doing riding thst thing out on a narrow country road
is beyond me, other news agencies have posted the sad news with
pictures of the locale where it happened..

Be safe ladies n gents.Look at the big picture, analyze the little
things thoroughly.
And play it safe anyway.

I've done my share of riding one on the rough trail and railroad
gravel along the river bank behind the factory. IMO they are safer
there than mountain bikes because they have no minimum speed and can
turn in place. Bikes are easier to carry over rockpiles, though.

They might not clean every section on a dirt bike Trials event but
they could probably be ridden and dragged through the course. I wasn't
very good at Trials boulder kissing or Segway stunts and never pushed
the limits.
