No.  It's much better than what I expected.

Geotaxation is always progressive.

Get yer carbon footprint down to 4 tons a year and geo taxation won't
be a factor.

  Hmm...  and you don't expect to have any impact from
the additional cost that is applied to all the goods and services
that require energy?  That's right you want to live in a teepee
smoking grass and groove on the wonders of mother nature.

   Or you could be wearing a loin cloth living in a commune,
devoting your life working to help others, for the new glorious
leader.  You wouldn't be a secret capitalist and want to keep
any electricity you make, as if you owned it?  Greedy people
like you will have 90% of your production taken, for the
greater good, of course.

That's the point.  Prices must reflect true costs.

Right now disreputable types are trying the "collectivise costs and
privatize profits" scam and then pretending that they aren't
collectivising costs.

--artificial added cost.

--The real and imaginary "costs" of supplying the CO2 that all green
--plants yearn for, that you want to monetize and add to the mix; as
--a precieved "cost to the environment"; you would have go to whom?
--This collected tax furnishes funds to whom?  Who gets to control the
--application and regulation of the tax?  How "Disreputable" might they
--be?
