just got my new TED unit (theenergydetective.com) and am just posting this to
let
everyone who has the 1000 series know they now have new software/firmware in the
unit,
storing 13 months of history and the port is activated for data transfer to
pc/laptop
bought one originally from comments posted on this group
the manual online is all new also, new features for techonly etc..

I emailed support and they said the new software is NOT ready yet. Not
sure how you got yours.
