Here is one. I believe it is in the cheaper quality range of units. I have
seen nicer in stores.

Coming to Canada soon?

The Harbor Freight solar shed light is so feeble that in daylight you
can barely tell if it's on or off. I moved the batteries from the
panel to the light to make it a portable lantern, but cheap solar
driveway lights work just as well (or poorly) as flashlights for much
less money.

A "deep cycle" battery is your goal. Not a car-starting one.

 Damn Agent users!

A "deep cycle" battery is your goal. Not a car-starting one.

what kind of 12v battery is needed, would an automotive battery
work or is a special type of cell required?
