My ancestors came here to escape the 'touch' of Europe, which isn't
nearly the rest of the world.
This morning I discussed Indian politics with a Tamil and [mumble]
with a Brit. The magazines on the kitchen table are in Russian and
German. The electronics industry here is very international and much
of the best talent is from Asia rather than Europe now.

I'm not an American, and none of the houses on my street exceed 1000 sq
ft. All of them war time houses:

I've been to the UK, my sister lives there, they park on the road or
where ever there's a space. New houses in the UK have no place to park?
Pull the other one.

No, you are living in one of your own.

Very often there is less parking than for one vehicle per house as a result of
'infill'
development and 'politically correct' thinking.

You must have mistaken me for someone else. I am not "cornered" at all.
Regardless if you like it or not, I am just pointing out the limitations you
encounter when you try to "average" the human condition.
