Which also means that it will be speed limited. Take it off of a city
street and onto most any highway, and you will burn gasoline. Still, it
will be sufficient for some. Even baby steps can be good.

You need to change your name, "misterfact"! No factory Prius can get
anywhere near 30 miles on the battery alone. Some of the more expensive
plug-in conversions may get something like that on a good day, but then you
will need to "plug in" a whole different set of numbers, and you will find
that you need a whole lot more PV..
