Can you predict when you're going to have to swap cars ? Many times I've gone
into work and
they've asked me to do another 50-150 mi to see a client. A bit late by then.

Jeez, if it's mainly you that gets the call outs, use the ice car,
whoever does the short hauls uses the EV. As stats point out , your
situation isn't average, neither are long commutes.
