I suppose that this is obvious.
But, I was just watching the History Channel regarding coal.
Apparently, conventional wisdom is that Coal formed from plants growing
long ago.
I think that I've heard something similar regarding petroleum oil.
So, here is the question, "?Where did the carbon come from that is in
all that coal and oil still buried beneath the earth?"
If the answer is "From the CO2 in the atomosphere.", then it would seem
that in the past, there was more CO2 in the atomsphere than there is
currently....
But, if that is true, why is it a problem to return the carbon back to
the atmosphere?

Presumably, it's a problem because the climate way back then
was different than it is now. People are used to the way our
climate is now and they don't like change.

Geeze, Where do you guys come up with this stuff??? Nature is NEVER in
"Balance". Nature is cyclical, ALWAYS.... it is just some of the cycles
are very very LONG.... and you Dufus's are to short sighted to see
that....
