At this moment , I beleive this outfit has the best prices
http://www.sunelec.com/Clearance/Solar_Modules/solar_modules.html
For large panels , theses are an excellent deal , I have 36 of these on =
my house that I bought from them , At this moment
Photowat PW 1650 (155) 155 Watts, 9.11 Amp, 49x43x1.5, (2 per box) , =
399.00 per module (2.57 watt)
or If you don't mind frameless
120 Watts Laminates, Rated Voltage 18.8 V, 6.4 Amp , 238 ( 1.98 watt)
I have some 75 watt BP laminates I also bought from them I am getting =
ready to mount. I intend to fasten them directly to uni-strut , the =
laminates are VERY ridged and I would not shy away from using the =
"frameless" panels , they seem more ridged them the framed ones.

Great price. For under $2 per watt, I would take frameless, ugly, and
crooked. :)
Do they have mounting clips on the rear, or mounting holes around the edges?
Is there a bare margin around the silicon for mounting holes or clips?

I don't have the 120 watt laminates , I have the BP 75 Watt ones ...
But on the 75 watt laminates , there is a good 2 inch space from the outside
edge to the cells , on 2 corners , 1 inch on the other 2. I intend to use
uni-strut on the horizontal axis on my roof to support both a bottom edge
and upper edge of a panel , and just use stainless hardware to mount onto
standard slip nuts that are a uni-strut accessory (If you've used uni-strut
before , this should make sense). In most mounting I have seen , the support
structure is redundant to the module frame , with laminate being what looks
like a fiberglass backing and very ridged , you just don't pay for the
module frame you don't need.
As far as being ugly , the 75 watt BP's I think look nicer the 155 watt
photo watts , from a distance , it will look like one big panel , not broken
up my aluminum picture frames
And yes , the price IS good. If you buy 56 , it's 1.75 watt

Can you post on your web site some pictures of these Laminates? And how you
mounted them?
I'm very intersted in these if they are rugged and weather resistant. Sound like
a very cost effective solution. I have a semi clear
southern sky here, but I do have a few oak trees that like to drop dead
branches. So Im wondering if they would be rugged enough.
TIA
Martin
