Hello All,
Our Prius driver display panel has been turning-off on long (~4 hr)
trips with head lights on. If the head ligts are turned off then the
display panel turns on again. Anyone experience this behavior or any
advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

Do you mean the MFD (the LCD screen) or the display containing the
speedometer? If the latter, check to see whether your knee is brushing
against the dimmer wheel.

Right, or there may be a "bat" (bad spot) on the dimmer potentiometer.
Those can usually be worked-around by moving to a different spot or
scrubbing the bat by rocking back and forth over it.

YOur display may be going bad. We had ours replaced.
Take it to a dealer asap as a new one would set you back $000 plus labor.
If that isn't it, you may need the firmaware updated in your computer as a
error may be occruing. I perceive your display is starting to go bad
though.
