We've got a 1994 T-100 Pickup, a 2008 Prius and a 2010 Prius.
In-Laws have a Sonoma.
How come even parked facing downhill, opening a Toyota door results in
the door bouncing or even closing back as if the stay never caught?
Can't tell you the number of times folks have skinned their legs
getting out of any of the above vehicles.
Just don't have these problems with any other cars.
Anyone else have the same experience?

If anyone does, it would be your friendly Toyota dealer.

Yes, but on a '97 Lumina. Annoying as hell and embarrassing when you open
the door and let go and it closes itself.
