Do you realize that those articles are at least eight months old? Are
you trolling or are you oblivious to the age of that "news"?

No, I just found those references recently. Just because the articles
are old doesn't mean the trend has stopped altogether. I am guessing
you'd have denied it was an issue even at that time, just like Peak
Oil is a "myth" and other "conservative" reverse-engineered reality.
If the peak of 2008 vandalism was due to the oil price spike, we'll
see another wave if/when the recession wanes and people start being
gluttons again, driving up fuel usage and costs once more. I hope you
understand the overriding point here.

What in the world are you talking about? All I'm saying is that if you
want to make a point, regardless of what the point is, you should use
current data, not aged data that may not be relevant any longer.
Especially when using inflamed language that looks like trolling.

As a conservative, I love Priuses. That way you can identify the
trend following losers. Those cars are mostly plastic made from
petroleum. They are loaded with petroleum oil and grease. Hell, they
even run on gasoline.
And don't people that buy them get a tax credit? If I'm paying for
someone else's car, I own a piece of that car. Maybe I should be
allowed to break off a piece of one...

Do you want polite or do you want sincere?

Yeah, they're the ones not driving Priuses.
> Those cars are mostly plastic made from petroleum.
Yup, you're a conservative alright; you guys just love to display your
ignorance. Or is it that you're not ignorant, but are lying?
> And don't people that buy them get a tax credit?
There is no tax credit for the Prius; there used to be one for certain
hybrids, but not any more. There is a tax credit for all new cars right
now; it's part of the stimulus plan.

Typical right-wing attempt at humor.
> Do you want polite or do you want sincere?
In your case, neither; right wingers are incapable of either.
