The tax credit is nice but it isn't the reason to buy one.

In Ontario Canada, they still have the tax credit for hybrids.

The tax credit is for vehicles that run on alternative fuels
(electricity, propane, natural gas, ethanol etc.). See this url:

I made up my mind to buy a hybrid and finding out that there was a tax
rebate was a bonus. I just like the Prius and all of its benefits and
accessories .

Well good for you. I think people should buy the car that they like
the best. It's my firm belief that cars define you. And that people
that don't think cars define them don't realize that they do.
Obviously you have a passion for your Prius.
I'm a car guy as well. I have a 4th Gen Camaro SS ragtop and a 66 El
Camino. And an electric car.
