In the US, each maker of hybrid cars got a certain maximum number of
cars that would carry tax credits. So may people bought Toyota
hybrids that buyers now get no tax credits. The other makers --
Honda, Nissan, Ford, etc. -- still have tax credits available. Diesel
cars do get tax credits here too.

So, as a "conservative," what exactly are you conserving? That is,
aside from your perceived right to pillage nature and horde money.
What are you actually doing to acknowledge that the planet is finite?
Or do you think it isn't?

That's it, dwell only on the money aspect. Resources are infinite. The
Rapture will negate all human gluttony.

Cancer-model economies don't work on finite planets.

Maybe you should run along and learn what the words you are using mean
before trying to say that they mean the same in some bizarre way.
That is,

What does any of that have to do with anything? I have an electric
car. Do you have an electric car? If not, climb back into your gas
guzzling Prius and STFU.

Then why are Prius users squandering resources?
My second car is totally recycled. What is the oldest car YOU own?

How is killing Bison political? Enviros are conspiracy theory machines.
The Bison were largely killed by indians for white men, who shipped the meat
west. Bison are
cattle.

Interesting conspiracy theory but dead wrong.
