This is the sort of thing you will understand as you mature. If you mature.

Face it: you went out in public and declared that when you're in a car,
you can't judge whether even to roll down the window or not unless you
have something telling you exactly what the outside temperature is.
Now you're getting ribbed for it, and you don't like it.
Tough. Next time don't go out in public and declare that you're a
flaming loser who needs a device to tell you what the temperature is
outside the car you're driving, because you can't possibly judge it
Tell us all: how do you handle not knowing what the humidity is? The
temperature may be a nice 75 degrees, but what happens when you roll
down your window and are utterly and completely surprised and caught off
guard by an unexpectedly high level of humidity? Oh the HUMANITY! How
do you cope?

I do very well, thank you. Judging from your harangue, I presume you are
off your meds.

Without a humidity gauge telling you the exact humidity?
Then tell us all: why is a temperature gauge "necessary" (your word)
for judging whether to roll down the window or not?
Why don't you know, within a few degrees, what the temperature is
outside? You ARE in a CAR, for God's sake.

I use the outside temperate, combined with knowledge of the dew point, to
manually configure the climate control system to prevent windshield fogging
in winter. I also use the outside temperature to decide when to turn my
heating or cooling systems off to conserved fuel. It is especially
difficult to determine the outside temperature by rolling the window down
when wearing a parka, hat, gloves and boots. I doubt you could tell the
difference between -40F and -5F. You are free to find my use of the
outside temperature reading silly. If my doing this causes you extreme
angst, as it certainly seems, please ignore my posts. I don't want to be
responsible for anyone's nervous breakdown, whether or not they are an
