You don't know the dew point, because you don't have the gauge in front
of you.

As with temperature, a dew point readout would be necessary for you to
make the judgment of whether or not to open the window.

Keep talking.  You look sillier and sillier as you go.

Not your use of it; your REQUIREMENT of it in order to make the judgment
on whether to open the window or not.

You're in a CAR.  You're not stuck in the bowels of a skyscraper, trying
to judge how to set the environmental controls.

We look forward to hiding or disabling your temperature gauge and remove
a temptation.

It's no temptation for me.

This is twice now that you've come forth for the strict purpose of
putting words into my mouth, words I've never spoken.

On the other hand, I simply point out words that people speak--and they
seem not to like it when their words are brought forth to the light of
reason.

Interesting.

I've yet to hear anyone speak on Usenet.  Do you use a text-to-speech
translator and if so, shouldn't it put words in your ears?

You see them speak all the time.
