I remember once, many years ago, on an icy, unsanded high-crowned
street, ending up after a graceful slide, nose in to the curb, and
unable to back off. A couple of friends happened to be walking by at
the time, and the three of us managed to push the rear end around so the
car was again parallel to the curb, I got back in and drove on. Very,
very slowly and carefully.
